Vote for one of the best pizza in Denver in our championship bracket — The – The Know
We’ve made it to the finals of the Denver pizza bracket, with two contenders left tossing pies: Deli Italia and Cart-Driver. What a matchup.
Both are favorites in their respective neighborhoods. Cart-Driver has two Denver shops — in RiNo and Highland — and the original just reopened last week after a renovation.
Deli Italia, meanwhile, has just one location at the edge of a shopping center in Lakewood. While it’s been open for more than three decades, current owners Chris and Lindsay Lyons took over just three years ago when they introduced their new pizza to the menu.

We’ll have both restaurants’ full stories out next week in time to announce our champion. For now, here are the results from the last round. (Remember to play fair during the finals.)
Deli Italia (54%) defeated Walter’s 303
Cart-Driver (12-vote lead) def. Pizzeria Locale
Editor’s note: Voting will take place online, and the winner will be posted on The Know and printed in the following week’s Denver Post food section. May the best pizza win.
