First period

Denver 1, UND 0 — Carter Savoie (Bobby Brink, Mike Benning) 11:05 (pp). Denver converts on its first power-play chance of the night with Grant Mismash in the box. Benning takes a shot from the point that hits traffic in front. Brink picks it up and feeds Savoie in the left circle. There’s nobody on that half of the ice and Savoie has a wide open net to shoot it in. It’s the second goal in two college games for the rookie from Alberta.
